Welcome

Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month (except July).
Our next meeting is :

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 (no meeting in July)

The meeting begins at 6:30pm with someone on hand to help with a knitting question; the program and business portion begin at 7:00pm. The meeting ends with "show-n-tell" and a time for socializing.

We meet in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Methodist Church - 3700 Cottage Grove in Des Moines.

Vistors are always welcome!

Knit & Chat Groups

Every month the guild holds informal get togethers where we sit and knit. These groups are open to anyone interested in knitting. This is a good forum for members to socialize and have fun knitting.

Thursday Group

Friday Group - Meets the 4th Friday of the month at the Urbandale Public Library from 10am to Noon.

Charity Knitting

Currently members of the Des Moines Knitting Guild are working on Winter items. Any hand knit items such as blankets, sweaters, hats, mittens, booties, are always welcomed by those in need.
