November Meeting

Join us Tuesday November 5 for our monthly meeting.

This time we will learn and practice some exercises to keep your hands limbered up so you can do MORE knitting!

We will also learn how to knit backwards.  So bring any yarn and needles to knit along.  Worsted weight and size 8 needles recommended.

There will be a yarn sale of wool yarn from New Hope.  We will be giving them the money made from this sale.  Please bring cash, no checks accepted for this special sale.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. followed by the program and sale.  We will have someone there by 6:30 if you need help with any knitting issues.

Fall is in the air

As the temperatures drop and there  is a nip in the air, our thoughts turn to knitting, spinning, weaving, basically all things fiber.  Check out our calendar of events to see upcoming retreats and knitting events to participate in.  They can often give you new ideas, new techniques and new yarns.  Just meeting with others can really get the creativity juices flowing!

If going on the road is not something you can do, maybe a local guild event,  Remember we have several knit and chats each month, maybe one will fit your life and calendar.

Next up is our 4th Friday knit and chat where we knit exclusively on charity items.   Join the group at the Urbandale Library on Friday October 25 from 10-noon.  Hope you join us.
