This week with the Des Moines Knitting Guild - Monthly Meeting

Tuesday, October 1st from 7-9 pm at Grace Lutheran Church - Monthly Meeting

We will have our regular business meeting, our program, extras from Ellen and MJ's knitting adventures and travels and Show and Tell.

Dues are Due!

And don't forget your homework!

Our program is the kitchener stitch.  Homework for the program = 2 swatches of 20 stitches about 3" long.  One should be stockinette and the other 2 x 2 rib.  Use worsted weight yarn and appropriate needles. Also please bring a yarn needle.  You will be kitchener stitching these.

Friday, September 27th - Charity Knit & Chat

Please join us for charity knitting at the Urbandale Library from 10-12 am.


Saturday and Sunday. September 29 & 30 from 10-3 - Alpaca Days

Join the guild for Alpaca Days at C& M Acres south of Maxwell.  There will be alpacas galore and an opportunity to tour the new fiber mill! Bring a chair, lunch and beverages and of course your knitting or spinning! A tent will be provided.  It should be a nice weekend weather-wise.
